Our Executive Board is made up of one faculty advisor and several student leaders that each serve a specific function within the club. New Executive Board members are needed almost every semester. When positions are anticipated to be available, an announcement is sent out to our members with details about the application and interview process. We take this process seriously, and work hard to match up applicants with positions that allow them to be successful.
Our student organization gets support from a faculty advisor. They help us to work on goals set by the club and by the College of Business, to network with professional organizations, and provide us with their insight into the professional landscape. John Burnley
Faculty Advisor
John Burnley has a strong background in medical systems and processes. He is also an instructor of Information Technology courses, including MIS 435 and 445 this semester. John is also spearheading the MIS Case Competition presence on campus.
Matt Knudsen
President
Matt Knudsen was brought on to the ISBA Club executive board in the fall of 2021 and will graduate in the spring of 2023. Matt serves as the President where he oversees all club operations and coordinates club meetings. He previously served as treasurer. Matt is currently a senior majoring in Management Information Systems. He enjoys hanging out with friends, skiing, and golfing. He also loves to talk about cars.
Jake Schrik
Vice President
Jake Schrik serves as the Vice President on the MIS Executive Board for the 2022-23 academic year. He provides additional support for the President and the rest of the executive team. Jake is currently a senior majoring in Management Information Systems and will be graduating in the Spring of 2023.
